“He will also keep you firm to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful, who has called you into fellowship with his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Corinthians 1:9 NIV)
“You’re so faithful, you never let me go, and I’m so grateful, for all the love you’ve shown”
Another deep house track with all the hallmarks of Chris Howland’s tight production alongside an overtly gospel message.
This one has a bit of a garage feel to the percussion sitting over the 4/4 kicks. The track uses a classic deep house-style pad/bass riff with Miya Bass’s vocals delivering the lyrics beautifully over the top.
As the tracks progresses to the chorus a piano hook is added to really fill things out. The track then breaks with filtered vocals cuts and piano and a synth riffs building back into the beat and towards the chorus before stripping things back as it heads to the outro.
If you have somehow missed the reviews of tracks by Chris Howland and you like this, definitely check out his other tracks linked on the blog, you won’t be disappointed.
