There’s something hugely powerful about personal testimony as a tool for reaching the unsaved. People may deny the legitimacy of the bible and second-hand stories but it’s hard to refute someone’s personal experience.
Christian Scott’s debut on Deeplife Records is a deep and pulsing house affair that keeps the instrumental stripped back to allow Christian’s spoken word declaration of his experience of God really stand at the forefront of the track.
I really like how the vocal slips in and out of the track so easily with the musical elements (particularly the warm, grooving bassline) picking things up in the instrumental sections.
I feel a bit like a broken record saying this but Deeplife just continue to put out quality track after quality track!
